Hi, I'm Sunanda!

I'm an illustrator based in Toronto. After 12 years working as an instructional designer in the corporate world, I left ready for a change. What I kept coming back to was making art, something I've loved since childhood. So, I let myself follow that thread for the first time and Studio Sunanda was born.

Studio Sunanda seeks to celebrate the milestones that don't come with a gift registry: the quiet ones that don't always get marked with fanfare.

My purpose in life is to help people feel a little more seen: I try to capture the everyday and in-between moments that are otherwise overlooked.

Every grumpy toaster and excited owl I draw seems to have big feelings and deep thoughts it wants to share with the world... something tells me you do too.
